If you have any idea of what circuit training is, then you have the basic concept of things for this class. Fight Circuit Conditioning is a big deviation from our lower, our upper, and our full-body boxing classes. This class is designed to get your heart rate higher and push your muscles further. Fighting Comes First in this class as participants start off with bag work and finish with our Fight Circuit. Participants rotate through a number of exercises and movements in a timed manner with an expected intensity. Don't worry, even though this class isn't as reserved when it comes to deciding on your own weight load and intensity, regressions of exercises are available at every station for those who aren't yet confident in their own technique or physical ability... yet.Don’t worry, we will get you there. Fight Circuit Conditioning utilizes olympic barbells and weights, sleds, battle ropes, treadmills, rowers, assault bikes, and much more. It is considered a favorite amongst members.
High Intensity Interval Training (FCT) style This class is meant to push the pace in a timed round format. Each round is designed to make you more tired than the one before. Participants will switch between bag work and weighted workouts to maximize heart rate and muscle activation. In this class, you can't escape the intensity, but weight choice is still up to the participants' discretion. Long breaks are few and far between, and they go fast. FCF Cake Factory is a specialty class with one goal in mind: to grow your glutes! Boxing is just a warm-up for the cake-baking session that follows right after. Participants will start off with some very quick bag work to warm up. After that, we put the gloves away and prepared the oven mitts for nothing but glute-dominating movements and exercises targeting the booty. Once again, the intensity is up to the discretion of the participants. Butt, the more ingredients you use, the higher the quality of the cake. Definitely a fan favorite, especially amongst women who'd like to add a little shape for summer time.
We start them as young as 6 or after an assessment of their comprehension skills and attentiveness. Boxing is a perfect alternative for off-season sports, cross-training, and after-school activities. Our kids' and youth's programs instill discipline, a sense of pride, focus, and the idea that nothing is impossible. These children not only learn a skill that will put them to the test, but they also develop a sense of responsibility to assess any situation and make the right choice. Kids may (determined by the coach) be selected to do live sparring in a safe, controlled environment if it is decided the kid is willing and ready. Sparring is an opportunity to see our young champs apply what they learn in class. Of course, protective equipment is worn at all times during sparring sessions and is monitored by the coach to ensure it remains respectable and educational.
